Her family will forever value the lessons of honour and respect for others that she as a role model instilled in all of them. Betty’s fierce spirit matched only by her abundance of love and selflessness will be forever etched in the minds of those who had the privilege of being part of her world. Judy was known for her kind, caring way and her generosity towards others, especially those who were less fortunate. Judy will be remembered by her many friends, nieces, nephews and extended family. Judy will be missed by her grandchildren Christian, Dakoda, Aaron, Michael, Riley, Chloe, Ben, Kieran and great grandchildren Brielle and Jonathan. Judy was in her 69th year and passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. JUDY WILLIAMSON – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Williamson on Monday, December 28, 2020. Arrangements entrusted to the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main St., Picton, ON. Lindi would like to thank the compassionate professional staff at BGH – doctors, nurses and personal support workers – who cared for Denis during his final weeks, and all of those who extended condolences. The family will gather in spring for the interment of Denis’ ashes at the Pierce family plot in Cherry Valley Cemetery. Denis is survived by a cherished sister, Trish (Peter) of Gloucester, England, his dear brother Chris (Ann) of Dorset, England, nieces Nicola, Victoria and Tina and their grown children, and brother-in law Eric Pierce and sister-in-law Jocelyne Cormier of Prince Edward County. He is remembered with respect by many friends and associates from around the world. Denis was the founder and president of CMR Racing Products of Trenton, a niche engineering firm catering to vintage and historic motorcycle racing. The couple celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary on October 6, 2020. Denis emigrated to Toronto in 1970, and moved to Vancouver where he met the love of his life, Lindi Pierce, in 1976. He served an engineering apprenticeship and graduated in 1970 with a Full Technological Certificate from the City and Guilds of London. Denis was born on Januin Lincoln, Lincolnshire, UK. Denis had lived well and optimistically with cancer for eleven years, succumbing only when all available treatment options were exhausted. DENIS CYRIL CURTIS – Janu– Decem– Denis Cyril Curtis died peacefully with his wife at his side at Belleville General Hospital on December 28, 2020, at the age of 73.
