It was her very first author event and she handled herself like a champ. the adorable Cynthia has blogged about it with good pix. They were all so super-nice and really inspirational, and of course the one picture I took during the event came out blurry like a madman, so. Last night was our first ever Not Your Mother's Book Club Berkeley event, with PIZZA, and authors CJ Omololu, Susane Colasanti, Michael Grant, Jenny Han & Beth Fantaskey. (She even has a real camera with a zoom lens and all, much better than my craptastic phone cam.) Kling, Bloggiste extraordinaire and author of the upcoming SEA, has a great recap of the event with loads of pictures posted, go check it out. Well, by "everyone" I mean, I was exhausted and happy and I think everyone else was too. But the boys did well and signed about a thousand books and everyone was very exhausted and happy at the end of it all. Here's the deal with cramming this many people into a small space. Last Monday was our Not Your Mother's Book Club event with John Green & David Levithan, in celebration of their new book WILL GRAYSON WILL GRAYSON.
